Jaclyn Shin is a content creator and social media & community specialist based in the Washington D.C. area. She graduated from the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Arts — and is nothing if not passionate for all forms of art, whether it be cinema or music or photography or gaming.

A talented, award-winning creator recognized for the development and production of high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content, Jaclyn is comfortable both in front-of and behind the camera. She is skilled in industry trend research, best practices, and implementing emerging techniques to create best-in-class, unique content. She has hands-on experience forging collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams, ensuring her content aligns with specific branding and goals.

Jaclyn has an extremely diverse portfolio of editing experience, including podcasts, video essays, promotional marketing content, product demonstrations, social media short-form content, cooking show lessons, broadcast journalism, course lectures, and more. She can adapt to fit any type of tone or style.

When Jaclyn isn’t making videos she plays bass guitar in the pop rock band Neon Habits. She manages the social media channels for Neon Habits, acting as both a band manager and brand ambassador for the band by engaging with the community and addressing inquiries. She spearheads marketing campaigns by collaborating with her bandmates to create and curate captivating content meant to expand the band’s audience. Outside of music, Jaclyn also works for gaming conventions across the country. She has exhibited for various companies, such as Wyrmwood Gaming, 1985 Games & Obojima, and Many Worlds Tavern.
