Jaclyn Shin is a community/social media specialist & content creator based out of the Washington D.C. area. She graduated from the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Arts.
A talented creator recognized for the development and production of high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content, Jaclyn is skilled in industry trend research, best practices, and implementing emerging techniques to create best-in-class, unique content. She has hands-on experience forging collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring her content aligns with branding and goals.
Jaclyn started a YouTube channel where she creates film and gaming content. The channel has since amassed 1,500+ subscribers, 200+ videos, and 600,000+ total views. She has a diverse portfolio of editing experience, including podcasts, video essays, promotional marketing content, product demonstrations, social media creative, cooking show lessons, broadcast journalism, course lectures, and more.
When Jaclyn isn’t making videos she plays bass guitar in two pop rock bands, Neon Habits and Medusa’s Muse. She manages the social media channels for Neon Habits, acting as both a band manager and brand ambassador for the band by engaging with the community and addressing inquiries. She spearheads marketing campaigns by collaborating with her bandmates to create and curate captivating content meant to expand the band’s audience.
